My Top 5 Female Wrestlers

Description

Are you sick of these top five graphics yet? I don't care. :P
But seriously, I have this graphic done and I have a final one on the way. By "final," I mean, "last until another idea springs to mind." But as far as female wrestlers today are concerned, there are very few that really stand out. However, I have my own list and some of them may surprise you, others may be obvious if you know me well enough. With that said, here is my list and my reasons as to why they're here.

AJ Lee - On NXT, I thought this girl was a standpoint. I believed that whether or not she won the season, she would make it to the main roster. I was right, though she really didn't gain popularity until she hooked up with Daniel Bryan and spawned her crazy chick character. While I liked AJ, I absolutely hated her run as RAW GM. I thought an authoritative role did not suit her and thought she was better as the underdog going against tyrannical authority, not being the authority herself. To my surprise, she came back into wrestling, which I think she does excellently. She's easily the most liked Diva on the roster and it's easy to see why.

Eve Torres - I've been a fan of Eve for a while and while I thought she was good as a babyface, I think she excels much more as a heel. Whether she's kicking Zack Ryder in the heart, not to mention the groin, or manipulating others to get what she wants, she's every bit cerebral as she is beautiful. It also helps that she's a legit asskicker. Her background in Brazilian jiu jitsu is something that you can't really say about a good number of modern-day Divas. She can actually defend herself in real-life situations and she's convincing as the Divas Champion now. I always liked this girl but now, she stands as one of my favorites today.

Daffney - I know that she doesn't wrestle for TNA anymore but she's currently involved in a smaller organization called SHINE so I think she counts. It's great to see that she's keeping busy after her time in TNA by being the hostess of these smaller shows. From what I've seen, she's been doing well in the role and I'm happy that she's attempting to make women's wrestling become more respected. I'm a longtime fan of this girl as many of you know, dating back to her time in WCW. When that company was reeking of stupidity and incompetence, she was one of the bright points since I loved her insane character and she only built upon it. The Scream Queen just rocks.

Brooke Tessmacher - Admittedly, I did not pay much attention to this girl when she was on the ECW brand in WWE back in '06. It was when she left that organization and came to TNA that I started to take interest. To put it simply, she has grown leaps and bounds as a performer. I think she's one of the stronger wrestlers of that company when given a chance and while I do like many girls from TNA, Tess just stands out to me. Sadly, though, she seems to have taken a backseat to Mickie James and Velvet Sky and while I hold nothing against those two, they've cut into Tess' time tremendously. It's sad because while her fellow ECW brand alumni Kelly Kelly continued to struggle in the ring, Tess killed it in TNA, which is another reason why she's on this list.

Natalya - Oh, Nattie... What is WWE doing to you? As someone who enjoys legitimate female wrestling, Natalya is easily the strongest worker in that division. Eve's definitely more well-rounded but when you're talking about pure technical ability and ring prowess overall, Natalya has everyone beat. When she can do something such as pull Kelly and Kaitlyn through good matches, you know you have someone special on your hands. Sadly, this third generation wrestler has fallen into stupid storylines like her infamous farting spout and her current relationship with the Great Khali (dafuq is dat shit?), when it's clear that she should be feuding with Eve. Despite the pitiful material she has to work with, I cannot deny just how strong of a competitor this girl is.

For those who are hungry for me to look at other companies, sooner or later I'm going to post my Top 5 ECW Superstars, so be on the lookout for that. :)

This is a good list. All of these women -accept Tessmacher- have amazing in ring talent. I love how you added Daffney in there, I always thought she was good. I liked her act the most as the 'Scream Queen' in WCW the most.

My list lol :

Molly Holly
Ivory
Maria Kanellis
Amber O' Neal
Jazz
Miss Jackie
